The People at Edward Vinson

Our HR and Welfare team’s dedication to staff welfare goes beyond ensuring satisfaction at work, we strive to make sure that all staff feel equally treated and part of our large team both during work and after work.

‘My name is Krasimira and I am from Bulgaria. I joined the Company in 2007 working at one of our propagation sites. Since then I have been part of the team. My role involves working closely with Jenny and Gunita making sure that our staff receive the support needed while working with us. I met my husband who also works for EV in England and we have a 3 year old boy. I really like my job as it’s very dynamic and gives me a chance to meet many different people.’

‘I joined Edward Vinson
in 2007 and was at that time new to the horticultural and agricultural industry. Part of my role is to make sure that our temporary staff arrive in time for the season and that they are well informed and prepared when starting. We are a small team whose care for everyone's wellbeing has become our personal interest’.

‘I started as a picker in 2005, and was then promoted to a Field Assistant position. The work on the farm is tough, but a friendly team and joyful life on the campsite turns it into an unforgettable experience, which is why I try to provide a good environment for our staff and assure them that they can turn to me with any queries. All this experience helped me when I became Assistant Welfare Manager and still helps to fulfil my duties as Welfare Manager.
What does being a Welfare Manager mean to me? It means that I am involved in almost every part of our workers stay in the UK. This is a job which gives me satisfaction.’
